Searching and searching, just to find yourself,
Every time I see you, you’re someone else.
Build your image - to mask your hollow insides.
Build your image - somethings you just can’t hide.
It never has, it never will,
All that shit means nothing to me.
I see through the fashion parade,
It’s so fucking fake.
Never - it means nothing to me.
Look inside your heart, that’s who you fucking are.
Sometimes, sometimes it’s all you are.
Build your image - to mask your hollow insides.
Build your image - is there substance inside?
Oddly, this record's pulverizing grooves make me think of a hardcore version of Dying Fetus' "Destroy the Opposition". The songs are finely tuned for maximum pit destruction, rotating through a beautiful array of drum beats, with the core one being a stumpy polka beat that just screams "circle pit". The Siouxsie & the Banshees cover is both surprisingly faithful and surprisingly not out of place. I hope the band explores that melodic direction a bit more. fyeahmetal
